2007 Redwood Region Porsche Artisan Winery Tour
The tour started Healdsburg at 10 am, Saturday July 28th. From there we worked our way through Dry Creek Valley where we stopped at Kachina Vineyards for a feast including our '04 Dry Creek Cabernet with burgundy black pepper tri-tip and Port with Nancy's homemade port truffles. We then motored to our next winery where we saw a new wine cave being drilled, and tasted some great Syrah. Lastly, we helped a new small winery celebrate their opening day.

"Dry Creek Valley: California's Undiscovered Cabernet Country"

A panel discussion was the start of this year's Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley Trade and Media Event. The event, held Tuesday, August 8th, was focused around an in-depth look at Dry Creek Valley with several vineyard tours, luncheons with winery owners and winemakers, and an afternoon Barrel Tasting of Vintage 2005 Wines, including Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. Kachina Vineyards was proud to be an integral part of this event and hosted one of the nine luncheons at their private home overlooking the valley.

2006 Redwood Region Porsche Artisan Winery Tour
The tour started Healdsburg at 10 am, Saturday July 8th. From there we worked our way through Alexander Valley to our first stop, tasted some Cabernet with chocolate covered strawberries and then moved on to our next winery where we feasted on pulled-pork, estate olives and great wine. We then motored on over to Dry Creek Valley
and tasted some Zin and Rose.  Our last stop was high above the valley floor.  Here we relaxed, took in the views and tasted some more great Cabernet, Spanish cheeses and wild boar sausage.

Taste of the Valley 2006
Kachina Vineyards participated in the annual Alexander Valley Winegrowers' annual Taste of the Valley event. As part of the "Outlaw 7" - a group of small, family-owned artisan wineries in the beautiful California Alexander Valley. None of the wineries in the Outlaw 7 have a tasting room, and many of them only sell direct. By joining forces and renting a space for wine tasting, food, music and fun, the Outlaw 7 offered a unique opportunity to taste and purchase wines that may not be found anywhere else - a chance to discover something special that can be savored, enjoyed, and shared with family and friends.
